Action is the key element in preventing
road accidents involving children.
The Visible Child Campaign (VCC) is to promote
safety of vulnerable road users in Zimbabwe -
Children and Disabled people in particular.
We worry about what a child will
become tomorrow, yet we forget that she or
he is someone today.

What We Do?
provide an independent road safety evaluation service to help public and private organisations assess the effectiveness of road safety projects.
With change going on all around, we need to think differently about delivering education. Our organisation uses learning campaigns to raise awareness, reinforce messages, and create behavioral change.
We also are involved in product development of clothing and many other products which are used in making children more visible on the road.

Major improvements can be made to child pedestrian education by providing tailored and practical programs that target the component skills of road-crossing decisions and improve essential skills through intensive training and feedback on known risk factors.

As an organisation, we are going to embark on iunforming the world about the children's safety on roads. People, both drivers and kids need to be well informed. We need funding in order for us to deliver our teaching.

The Visible Child Campaign is a CCP flagship program that seeks to coordinate private and public sector initiatives to protect children from road traffic accidents as well as promote visibility of children on Zimbabwean Roads. CAMBA together with it’s partners will be working with relevant stakeholders to raise awareness among road users.
Tailored Campaign strategies such as social media, road shows and use of marketing materials will be employed. The CAMBA Campaign is centred on advocating for every child to always put on reflector belts just like the visible hard protection shell of a tortoise (Kamba in Shona).
The Road Safety Patrol (R.S.P) scheme trains students to regulate traffic near schools, under the guidance of a traffic constable. This helps them to understand traffic rules better and to share their knowledge with fellow students. Poor communities and vulnerable groups such as women will be involved in the production of the reflector belts.
